Mimi Framework

MimiFUND Negative Loss

Why the loss can be negative in the model? In the impactaggregation component(MimiFUND.jl/ImpactAggregationComponent.jl at master · fund-model/MimiFUND.jl · GitHub), why the sign for p.agcost is negative while positive for other costs in the eloss calculation?

Those of us who maintain this forum are experts in Mimi, but not necessarily in each model that uses Mimi, but I believe you will be able to find your answers in the FUND Documentation, perhaps specifically in the agriculture component documentation here. Broadly, a negative cost generally indicates savings, which can happen in sectors like agriculture.

Hope that helps, let me know if you have other questions!
