Trouble getting started with MimiPAGE2020

Hello,

I recently downloaded the MimiPAGE2020 model repository to my local Windows machine. I was able to work through the getting-started page (https://github.com/openmodels/MimiPAGE2020.jl/blob/master/docs/getting-started.md) and a graphical exploration of main_model.jl. When I try run other modules, such as src/mcs.jl, I get a system Error saying there is no such file or directory. I checked to make sure that I am in the same working directory as where the github repository was downloaded to and that the necessary packages are being used. Do you have any suggestions?

Thank you.

Hello,

Thank you for your message and interest! Would you mind providing a bit more detail on what you are trying to do and the error message you are receiving? I am happy to help as much as I can, but after some details may suggest you reach out to the developers of the MimiPAGE2020 model, like @jrising, via a Github Issue on that repository since we as the Mimi team host the platform but do not actively develop all of the models. Hopefully I can help get you started though.

Thanks!

Hello,

Ultimately, I am trying to run a monte carlo simulation for land surface carbon emissions under varying temperature increase scenarios. I got past my initial problem and question above but have a more specific problem about variable definitions within src/mcs_def of MimPAGE2020 that I can’t find in the user documents. I’ve reached out to jrising but if I don’t hear back, I can circle back with more specifics.

Thank you!
