National climate damage data in MimiRICE2010

Hello,

In MimiRICE2010 I would like to create a new regionalization with about 20 regions. In this purpose I need national data to then agregate them as I wish. I found economic data in Penn tables but I didn’t find national climate damage data (impacting GDP). Did you obtain your regionalization by agregating national data or by using Nordhaus’s values ? Do you have an idea of where I could find such national climate damage data ?

Hi Marvin,

our version of RICE is a 1:1 copy of the original RICE as built by Bill Nordhaus. So we just used his coefficients, and we don’t have access to any underlying national data he might have used.
